What is the domestic public opinion on climate change in Canada?

I’m working on a research paper where I am to represent Canada in a Kyoto-like simulation. How do Canadians feel about Climate Change and what their country is doing to combat it?
Also, what is the stance of major political leaders?

THANKS!

  1. Naturally we care allot about climate change. After all the warmer it gets the more time we can spend on the patio. The real problem is how do we keep the beer cold. As for major political leaders they are more welcome to join us.

  2. I’m Canadian and we all think global warming is great. I leave my SUV idling in the driveway all day long and club seals to death on weekends just to hurry it along.

Also, in Canada we have no major political leaders, only sheep.

  3. i am Canadian and obviously want to combat global warming. our government is not following the kyoto accord and our current prime minister is conservative and one of those "denier" types. i cannot speak for all of us but many Canadians care about the environment
