What is a good websites for “green” tips?
I am only a kid, but a site that has good tips to green living that I could use be very helpful. I know the basics, like turning off water when brushing your teeth, and hands, recycling, etc.
But is there a really good site that has more?
Thanks!
There are quite a few great green blogs out there. Here are just a few:
* http://greenguideforkids.blogspot.com/ (specifically for kids)
* http://greenoptions.com (better for green news)
* http://www.treehugger.com (mix of news, opinion, tips)
For various how-to’s, these might be helpful:
* Water conservation: http://greenhome.huddler.com/wiki/how-to-save-water-around-the-house
* Energy conservation: http://greenhome.huddler.com/wiki/how-to-save-energy-around-the-house

If you’re just a kid it’s better ’cause I will bring you an address of a webpage which talks about recycling for young ones. Hope you find it interesting and start recycling too: http://www.yolimpio.com/recicla/index.php
Have a nice day!
Yes,it is good
Most of us know the basics but there is so much more to going green, I don’t know how old you are but there are many websites that deal with many aspects. I personally use http://www.biggreenpurse.com it gives information on how what we buy has an affect and how to find more environmentally friendly products. I also get lots of info from http://www.treehugger.com they have news stories on the latest est technology and other issues. If you want some good how and why to go green read "The Green Book" it can also be found online at http://www.readthegrennbook.com.
I’m sure there are other sites geared more for younger audiences, but check out theses sites too.

I like http://www.eartheasy.com/homepage.htm. Some of it may not apply. But they’ve got some good tips for what kinds of clothes to look for and what kinds of homemade cleaning products and pesticides and stuff like that you might be interested in.
you could look at treehugger, green iving and CopperWiki. You will come across many useful websites. I came across this aticle on green school and liked it.
I am partial on this question. The Department of Energy has a kids section. But, we have some good stuff as well on our site.
Here are a few good websites to check out.
