What education do I need to get a job working and helping our environment?

What type of job could I get that would help with our environment with a associates degree or training on the job. Where do I start? Is there a list of jobs that I could do research on?
I’m a 30 year old male looking to help save our environment.

Thank-you so much for any information.
I love Green Peace but I need to make a small living to feed myself.

  1. It might be hard to get into this field with just an associates degree, but it depends on exactly you want to do in this field. This field can be highly competitive. If you want to work as say a biologist where you are very hands on, this will take a Bachelors or a Masters degree. You might be able to get involved with admin or education in this field or something like a naturalist who gives interpretive walks, etc. I would continue with education AND start volunteering or looking for internships in this field. Check to see if you have a local Resource Conservation District and if you might volunteer there. See if your local Fish and Wildlife has a volunteer program, etc.

  2. Join green peace and you really don’t need to know anything, just oppose technological advancement, capitalism, industrialization, most of the human population and you’ll do fine.

  3. You should go to school to be a conservation agent you would be good at that.
