Why climate zones near the equator are more humid than climate zones closer to the poles?

Posted in Green Q&A | 6 comments

My hypothesis:

because climate near the equator is a combination of cold and hot air and seasons occur.Weather is in constant change and moisture needs to be released.

Am I right?

If not please feel free to share your knowledge!!!

Thanks :)

Why is climate easier to predict than weather?

Posted in Green Q&A | 5 comments

When people make the comment that if we can not predict weather a couple of days from now, how can we predict it 100 years from now, the answer is always there is a difference between climate and weather.

So what makes climate easier to predict? Do we have such a good understanding of the earth’s climate that we can make such predictions? If so why are the oceans cooling and not warming like the models predict? Why did nobody make such a prediction?

What is caused by global warming that causes the climate to become colder?

Posted in Green Q&A | 20 comments

I know what global warming is. What I don’t get is why the Earth is turning colder now that the icebergs are melting. Someone please help me!!
Thank you all who answered. Unfortunately, I’m still confused. What I’ve noticed is that the weather is starting to become colder, for example: Ontario, Canada had received a snow storm with the most snow out of past 60 years. I don’t understand how melting icebergs in the north could have affected that. Please leave a reference of your source of information. Thank you once more to all!
