How come it is still bad if you recycle the bottles?
I sometimes drink from disposable water bottles. How come it is still bad for the environment if i recycle them? Is it as bad as if i would through it away. How come it is worse than using a reusable bottle?

It feels like such a waste to throw it down the sink…
this is just the little water left from about 50 used water bottles (because i wanted to empty them full to recycle).. which I opened and poured a few drops into a big gallon. so obviously not only is it old water.. but there might be some backwash in there too.
Its snowing outside so i can’t use it to water plants or anything…
how can I use this water without wasting it??

I have always recycled but am now trying to be more green and wonder why the commercials about water bottles say they are so horrible. I thought they were ok and were being recycled? Is it really bad to use them if I recycle? I have a newborn and use bottled water to make his formula when I cannot pump. I do use a brita pitcher for my own water but I dont feel it is as clean as the sterile baby water. Also any tips for someone new to green living?
