What are the implications to the environment of our ecological footprint?
I was wondering how exactly does a country’s ecological footprint affect its environment, population, economy…
any help would be appreciated.
What do the proponents of global warming consider normal climate change?
The climate has gone up and down for billions of years.
It’s been much hotter and much colder.
The temperature has gone up and down slower and faster.
There has been much more and much less CO2 in the atmosphere.
Other planets in the solar system are changing at the same rate as earth.
Why is it any different now?
Is it because humans exsist?
It seems that the so called environ"MENTAL" crowd would be behind global warming if it’s going to be as bad as they say. All of the catastrophy that they claim will happen will only result in a reduction of population, a key component in there argument to stop global warming.
And if the debate is over, do the proponents of global warming understand they have lost?

None of the feel good green solutions given to us by celebrities ever explains what happens when double the population, uses half the energy currently used. This would put us right back into the same situation we’re in now. We would have to cut energy consumption in half and assume the population stays exactly the same.

I want to help in the conservation of the biodiversity of animals.
I don’t know what the name of the career I want is, but I know what I want to do. I really want to do field research and study the population of a certain animal.
Should I major in conservation biology? Or should I major in zoology? Or something else?
Should I forget about minoring in chemistry? I enjoy chemistry and its easy to do. But would having that extra notch on my belt be a good thing? or a waste of time.
What will our environment be like in 50 years? What are the best, worst, and realistic scenarios?
I think that some parts of the world will really improve the way they impact the environment, but others will not. And with increasing population, increasing number of cars, and expanding industry, things could just get worse.
So what do you think our environment will be like in 50 years?
