What are you doing?
So far 2 days and such great ideas! We, too, are using our cloth bags with handles for shopping instead of getting paper or plastic ones from the store. We also use our bikes or walk to short trips to local shops instead of the car. Keep those thermostats down/up (according to season). More ideas, please!

I make sure to shut off all of the lights when I’m not in the room and I’m persuading my Mom to buy the better light bulbs for the environment. I also recycle everything (bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, etc) What else can i do?

We use A LOT of paper as well as ink. We are trying to figure out a way to go "green" in our office and see an immediate cost benefit from our efforts.

There’s the obvious:

Recycle paper & ink
Change the light bulbs
Turn the computer off at night
Print on both sides of the paper

But I need something outside of the box. I have a meeting tomorrow and i want to come prepared with some creative solutions.

Ask your work to change bulbs to CFL or to recycle all waste products and to purchase recycled products. At home change all light bulbs to CFL and recycle all products from metals to foilage. Put in your best answer on what we can do to help start turning green from your home/work to city or state wide?
