Are all human residents of Antarctica green freaks?
I want to know if all of the scientists and people living in Antarctica are eco friendly. Do they use Hairspray? do they use those green swirly light bulbs? Or is it just the Greenpeace base?
Permaculture: How do you know if you are 'Green'? What would be your minimum criteria?
A question that keeps coming up for me. How Green is Green? What would be your minimum criteria? Do you have to be vegan or just change your light bulbs to low energy ones? Do you have to cycle to work or put on another jumper instead of heating the whole house? How do you know you are Green?
What are some ideas to help make my office “green”?
I work in a financial institution. We use A LOT of paper as well as ink. We are trying to figure out a way to go "green" in our office and see an immediate cost benefit from our efforts.
There’s the obvious:
Recycle paper & ink
Change the light bulbs
Turn the computer off at night
Print on both sides of the paper
But I need something outside of the box. I have a meeting tomorrow and i want to come prepared with some creative solutions.
What to use instead of somethings to go green?
I need some products (like the light bulbs) that you could use instead of using some not-so-green products. If possible give me the website you used to find these.
How can we make a city green starting from your home?
Before making a city green you must start at home or work. Ask your work to change bulbs to CFL or to recycle all waste products and to purchase recycled products. At home change all light bulbs to CFL and recycle all products from metals to foilage. Put in your best answer on what we can do to help start turning green from your home/work to city or state wide?
