What is the point of community “green programs”…?

Posted in Green Q&A | 2 comments

I find no use in the green bins they just waste time and money and smell alot.
In my opinion you are simply just letting them making money off you becuase they turn it into soil and you buy it back from them, i know it goes through all those curing processes and all that but honestly…
Don’t all the biodegradable items compost in a few weeks at a dump anyways? There’s many parasites that compost it…

Can anyone think of something that can change my opinion around?

Where can one recycle compost from food scraps in Los Angeles, CA if one lives in an apartment?

Posted in Green Q&A | 7 comments

In other words, I am not able to have a compost setup at my apartment, however is there a center of some sort that one can drop off compost at (similar to how an individual would take bottles, cans and glass to a recycling center)?

Thanks!
