Question: Why does the Prius and other “environmentaly friendly” cars look so stupid?
If you ever look at these environmentally friendly cars, they look so stupid. Like in the back. The Prius for example.

The shape is determined by aerodynamics. Aerodynamic styling always looks good because it’s functional–at least it looks good compared to the three box, me too, look that old fashioned cars have.

I’d love to buy a GREEN or “environmentally friendly” car that gets great gas mileage. But I wont buy one because they all look like they were designed for 16 year old girls.

The styling of these cards is always unappealing and deviates more from the current standard than I think necessary.

Why can’t they just make these flippin’ cars look NORMAL?

Most people are saying that EV and hydrogen fuel cell technology will replace our gasoline engines in are cars, but, what about Semi-Trucks? They are much more important to our current society than personal transportation.
Too me, it seems you would need MASSIVE batteries to pull trailers, not counting refrigeration. I don’t know if fuel cells could produce the power needed, but you would also need very large amounts of compressed hydrogen.
What do you guys think?
