Within 20 years, large amounts of oil will be hard to come by and very expensive. Most people are saying that EV and hydrogen fuel cell technology will replace our gasoline engines in are cars, but, what about Semi-Trucks? They are much more important to our current society than personal transportation.

I live in Singapore and recycling is a fairly new practice here. The electronics stores are not interested in helping recycle old batteries, unfortunately.

I’ve thought about using a butane grill but i’m not sure about the smell and off-gassing. I have also thought about using a table top battery powered lamp but I think I would go through the batteries to quick.

Anyone have any suggestions? I already use cfl and led bulbs and my heat is as low as I can stand. I do not have a lot of money at all.
