I am going to do an interview with a fuel specialist from an airline, about going green & alternative fuels, so what should I ask him?
I have a few questions already, I just want to know if there are any other questions which I should ask.

How to start a youth group litter pickup/recycling organization?

I want to help out & be more active in my community & as i walk around i notice a big problem is litter & whats worse is its recyclable. i live in Chicago, so im not exactly going to go to city hall & inquire how to get started; i was thinkin of just making it local neighborhood thing. how can i get people interested & get my idea off the ground? thanks

Would you recycle if a recycle center where closer to your home?

I ask because I recycle newspaper. I have 2 children & I don’t have the time to be driving an hour to recycle plastic. I’d love to, but it’s too far. I’ve searched online, there’s nothing closer. So, my question is……if you don’t recycle, does the recycleling centers distance have anything to do w/ that? Would you recycle if it were closer?

What is your viewpoint about there conservation of natural resouces?

Its an okay shower cutain besides the small minute tears by the magnets on the bottom, its molding easily & I don’t want to just throw it away b/c I don’t even know if it can be recycled at the Recycling Centers…

Anybody got any ideas on what I can do with it?

Do you think they’re generally accurate? Worthless? On what do you base this conclusion?

Here is one scientist’s take:

Many of the comments to previous blogs have stated that models are “just” a set of assumptions, and that the processes in the Earth’s climate are so complex that they defy our attempts to model them with any rigor. There are assumptions that are made when models are built, but those assumptions are not simply pulled out of a bag of magic tricks. In fact, arbitrary, unjustified assumptions are generally repelled from the modeling community because, first and foremost, the models need to describe some set of observations and the evolution of those observations, i.e. prediction. Most components of models are, just like my original modeling efforts, a representation of mathematical equations that rigorously describe the motion of the atmosphere. The idea that I and my colleagues would work from some potpourri of unjustified assumptions is, in fact, a bit offensive.

In what have Californians changed to make our environments better & healthier? Or what can we do to change things for the better of our environment?

In trying to implement a green lifestyle, is it better to use recycled paper towels, or washable rags?

We’re conscious about wasting water, and do everything we can to conserve. We’ve been using rags to clean & wash them when needed. I’m wondering if it would be more beneficial to use recycled paper towels thereby reducing water consumption? Any thoughts?
