Can you recycle in Virgina and get money for it?

Can you recycle aluminum cans in virgina? If so, how much can you get for recycling a pound of cans?

Where can i recycle my cans for money?

I have been saving aluminum cans for a long time and want to recycle them for money but do not know where i can go to do that. Anyone know where i go to do that?
Also, do you know how much you get when you turn your cans in?

Do you go green and protect the environment?

Do you recycle paper, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans? Do you reuse paper bags? Do you turn off the water when you brush your teeth? Do you take shorter showers? Do you know what food you want to get out of the refrigerator before you open it so you don’t keep the refrigerator open for a long time to save energy? We should all go green and help protect the environment.

What can I do to save money and to save the Environment at the same time?

I have already bought environmentally friends AC units and other things for the home, I recycle newspapers, clear glass bottles and aluminum cans. Those things are recycled in my area.

As a home owner I tend to look at the price tag and also ways to save money. I even tend to buy degradable trans-bags to help the garbage in my area since the bags I have used will take 1,000 of years to degrade due to the plastic used.

I make sure the lights are off when I leave and I have the temperature at a setting I can handle. What else can I do to save money and the environment at the same time. Am I missing something?
We currently don’t have a recycling company to pick up anything but clear plastic at this time.

I am located in Kansas-

Can you get paid to recycle a television?

I have a 32 inch television (its about 5 years old) that broke on me. I ended up buying a new one so I would like to recycle it…..Is it possible to recycle it and get paid? Like, aluminum cans? I am also in California.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in St Louis Missouri that pays to recycle?

I know that they pay to recycle aluminum cans, but what other products do they pay for. And if there are any, where? I already recycle everything I can but I figure if I can make a few bucks, why not.

Which materials are worthwhile to recycle and which are not?

I’ve discovered that certain things are indeed helpful to the environment when recycled, but there are also certain things that do more harm than good when recycled.

I read that aluminum cans are probably the best thing to recycle. But when it comes down to paper, for example, it’s probably a net loss for the environment (due to all the transporting, sorting, processing, bleaching, re-manufacturing, etc, that must be done to get it back to a usable state).

So basically I’m trying to figure out what items make sense to recycle and which don’t.

Thanks!
