In the 1970s, the big deal was global cooling.
In the 1980s, it was acid rain.
In the 1990s, it was global warming.
Now it is climate change.

Not only that, but we cannot predict weather for more than 7 days out.

Why should I give any credence to the scientists who say in 30 years the world will fall apart?

B) Ethanol
C) Methane
D) Methanol
E) Lactic acid

This mineral has formed in a crystalline structure on the outside (not in a problematic way) around the valve for hot water, but not cold. I think this has something to do with galvanization and specifically could involve a reaction with zinc oxide. So what is this and why is it only on the hot water side?
(Note: It comes off very easily, is not a hazard, water is clean by virtue of a city water-treatment plant.)

why is the earth like this

You feel it’s National Geographic, say Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Travel, PBS? What station influences you the most on appreciating the value, depth and meaning of nature / conservation?

What can I do with the ones that are stained and torn? I use some for rags. I once heard of someone using it as insulation. Does anyone have info on someone or place that could find a use for old clothes?
