for format, explain how water is a precious resource that is becoming more scarce. explain how and where it is being used to much. explain ways that water can be conserved. A lot depends on how you’re trying to discuss it, locally, nationally, globally, urban, or rural? maybe, discuss how water has been waster historically and it’s effects. how changing the natural water cycle has been changed and the effects. ie. how there were jungle areas in northern africa

What grade are we talking about? I agree APA guidelines should be acceptable for anywhere too.

I always love these topics that are assigned OK, I’m being sarcastic but here is something to think about.

Where is the water becoming more scarce? Is it being destroyed or is it more of a matter of management and getting water to where humans want it to be in a quality that is usable to them? Is the real problem to many people in an area and the water not being there to begin with? That is the way it is here. People move into a desert and then complain about not being able to water their lawns
