how to you view Christians and the environment compared to your views?
I am doing a thesis on different religions view on taking care of the environment. Christians seem to now care because the world will be "renewed"…? Whats your view on them and then your personal view?
The Old Testament seems to push "stewardship", albeit from an anthropocentric angle. It could be worse. Some of the Eastern religions are "greener".
to care environment is the dutyof all the person so all people have to care the environment for better health and life too
i think that there is a subset of people, some christian, who don’t care. In truth, i would expect "honest" christians to care more, because it’s "God’s" world. i would think that those who don’t care, are simply using their supposed religion to justify their often un-christian views and activities. (the KKK for example.)
that should pretty well indicate my view of them.
and if you’re in school, you’d be pretty silly to want anything other than for the environment to be taken care of.
perhaps fracking is the most serious environmental problem we have today.
worse than global warming, or just about anything else i can think of.
