How to run an environment club?

Is there anyone that runs an environment club? If so, when do you all meet, how often, etc? What do you all do in each meeting? I have a proposal that has been seen by the principal and the club is in good standings and almost ready to go for next school year. I have the summer to plan this club and finalize anything. Any tips on running the club?

    DO STUFF!!!

    Don’t just pass out pamphlets and crap like that.

    Organize an effort to pick all the trash out of the creek that runs through a park or something like that.
