How to recycle health insurance cards?
I am working in a company of 2000 employees. Our insurance cards are being replaced. I thought maybe something can be done to collect our expired insurance cards (which have the same material of credit cards) and recycle them somehow? Any advice to help save the environment from the waste of 2000 insurance cards?
I would cut them up and then recycle them with plastics.
I use such expired or old cards for clearing car window screen from snow… they are good snow scrappers..
I’d contact this company about mailing them in for recycling. Even if there was a drop-off service where you could take them, they presumably contain personal information so it would be better to mail them.
