How green is your Christmas shaping up to be?
We’re reusing a tree we bought last year.
We did all of our shopping in the city where we live.
Our purchases included a park pass, movie certificates and other gifts with minimal packaging.
Wrapping paper and bags are reused.
The family is meeting at a central location.
It felt good to be true to my principles and still be part of Christmas, but without the excess.
Reused a 15 year old Christmas tree!! Reused last years wrapping paper, also will be reusing it again hopefully as hamster poo catching paper
, also re-gifted! Car pooled to the store for the presents, also no lights on the tree, (bells and bows are cuter anyway).
hmmm…..
used the same tree from last year too.
did our shopping in one-two days. (the less times you use ur car, th less CO2 comes out of it, i think u know tht)
thts all i could think of….im sure there is more..
its white, 18" new snow.
It was kind of green. I went shopping at walgreens that is 200 feet from my house. But i still dove there.
also all my Christmas lights are led this year
Instead of flying to Hawaii this year we are camping out in the Walmart parking lot. We’re only buying presents that were manufactured close to home and told friends and family to stop by the campsite on their way out the store to pick up their christmas presents, unwrapped…!
My Christmas is the greenest of all, as I don’t decorate, have a tree or buy presents.
