How do i go about collecting cans to recycle?
I want to make some extra money and i was thinking of recylcing cans.
But i also think its gross to go through peoples trash cans. Is there any chance i might catch a disease or something? Am i suppose to wear anything in specific? Have any of you ever collected cans and how do you do it?
Collect cans and bottles at your house. If they do not already recycle, ask your friends and neighbors to collect their empty aluminum cans and plastic bottles for you . You can also collect them at your work or ask your parents to at their work. The best way to collect a lot of recyclables is from parties…so if you hear of someone having them make sure they put aside these instead of just throwing them away.
I would try to stay away from garbage can digging, but I will admit that I take bottles and cans out of the trash if they are just lying on the top of a trash can. Good luck.
Become homeless. You can do anything based off of necessity.
Just wear gloves to protect your hands from sharp metals or plastics. That is the only protective item you need to dig through trash.
I think you should Wear gloves and a mask if i was you go at 5 in the mornig and look for them i made 40 $ one time
my grandparents collect cans to get extra cash. and basically, you just drink soda cans, put them in a bag hanging near your sodas (so you remember it) and ask your family members and neighbors. this helps the environment, and your wallet! but don’t go digging through people’s trash. you’ll look suspicious. hope i helped!
