We had ours "run over" and called our town’s Department of Public Works and they replaced it right away(had to pick it up), but no hassles.In most towns, the Dept. of public works is in charge of waste and recycling.
contact your city office probably waste services in our town we call the contractor direct and they will drop a bin of we get the number from the city.The recyclable goods or materials (not trash)get taken to the recycling centre and sorted there and then hauled of to the respected industries that purchase said sorted materials
