I need a short play/role-play involving water conservation. If anyone can help me with this one, I’ll give them 10 points, for ANY answer they give, for any question in the future.

Well I think using the toilet is good play … everyone loves some toilet humour. So much water is used flushing the toilet and with better water recycling techniques in many countries this water could be reused, especially for non-drinkable watering (e.g. water the garden, wash the clothes, flush the toilet, wash the car)
Could have a line along the line of "flush it down the toilet" that is the clean water … or why do you need fresh water when you flush it down the toilet.
Check out information about recycling toilet water
Also Singapore already use a small percentage of their recyclable water for all purposes (including drinking) … could play on that the water tastes like sh*t (although apparently tastes the same as our normal water).
Another take you could have on toilet water and the YUCK factor is that our current water reservoirs already have animals using them as toilets (and dead animals have been found in water reservoirs). So could show it that your current water doesn’t taste like poo yet animals already poo in it so perhaps the idea you are already drinking poo might make them think twice about drinking recycled toilet water.
