Hello, I need help with my project. Do you think that going green will help stop Global Warming? Yes or no? Explain why please. I need 3 reasons for why or why not. Thank you very much.

"going green" is an extremely vague term. it is used by many companies as a marketing tool to make consumers think that the company is completely changing its ways to help ‘save’ the environment.
I can tell you this: in order to stop global climate change, first, humans need to stop releasing excess CO2 into the atmosphere. CO2 is released into the atomosphere primarly my burning carbon-based, or fossil, fuels. In the US, we use fossil fuels to power our homes and drive our cars. The less power we use and the more efficiently we drive, the less fossil fuels are used. second, We must also stop harming organisms that convert CO2 in oxygen, such as plants, trees in the rain forests, photoplakton in waterways, etc. In my opinion, in order to stop climate change, we must soon move away from carbon-based fossil fuels and use renewable, clean power from the sun and wind. Doing this will also benefit the economy and keep us from going to war with countries that ‘just happen to have very large oil supplies.’ Of course, to change to a renewable, clean energy in the US will take political will that Is not seen right now in the GOP.
If the above steps fit your definition of "going green," then I answer your question with a "yes!" If you think that "going green" is recycling a few extra soda cans each week, then my answer is "absolutly not!"
Good luck going truely green

no.
its way to late to stop it.
todays polution is from 30 years ago.
and i don’t think its possible for everyone to stop simotaniously.

Going green can also mean carpooling. When you carpool, your saving a bunch of gas by only driving in one car instead of two. If you go green you can switch to the swirlie light bulbs, which saves electricity, and the coal you use to power the turbines that make the electricity. You can also help by saving water in turning off the shower when you wash your hair or fixing leaks, which will help because you also dont use natural resources and inexhausible recourses to power the water cleaners.

Personal actions don’t do much. Anyone who really wants to ‘go green’ probably has already done so, and it clearly hasn’t been enough to make a dent.

Giving Goldman Saks , GE , And Al Gores fake carbon credit company’s more green
wont do anything .

Real scientists know that there’s no such thing as manmade ‘global warming’. Going green makes no difference whatsoever.

Global warming is caused by C02, so anything which decreases your carbon footprint will help stop global warming.
davem,
"Real scientists?" Like the ones no other respectable scientists pay any attention to?

Ever thing goes green. No children no carbon track, Don’t improve the economic system to improve trade fewer carbon tracks after the war. Recycling extends the nonrenewable resources reducing carbon so people can live on the earth longer without having to exploring outside the planet. The planet economic system doesn’t allow people to be rich or countries to rich so, they don’t have money for the bigger recycling project. Only borrowed money is bad in an economic system.
HAHAHA
It’ll help but it won’t be enough. New farming practices that are more efficient and sustainable will have to be invented, probably incorporating old ones. Agriculture is a major contributor. Cattle, etc, will have to be ranched or reduced consumption, or burn the methane. There goes Agriculture, check.
Also other than residential stuff, moving onto industrial. Methods will probably have to be converted to electric and solar heat for power. The grid will need to be redesigned, various renewables will be able to power at least 90% of power needs in most places. Increased efficiency will turn that into 100%.
As to cars, various manufacturers are in competition right now. I say the free market should be opened to the world, along with fast lanes around the red tape to getting efficient electric vehicles on the road. If they aren’t efficient, it defeats the purpose. At this point, power from nuclear plants which should also be used for the isotope industry may be needed.
Moving on. Boats currently burn an extremely dirty fuel that’s illegal anywhere where there are any basic health regulations. Here I see so many options for improvement, that I say the UN should carbon-tax them to stimulate a gradual move towards the hundreds of options I see. That way, it will be as close to the free market as possible.
This money, along with some voluntary donations would have to go to third world countries. Currently, there is too much dependence on deforestation to sustain their economies. In order to make it possible for them to industrialize without destroying their forests, and basically following the same path we did which created global warming, some money will need to be given away. Deforestation is the most long-term contributing factor to the CO2 increase.
Also, as a bonus a carbon tax on shipping would stimulate goods to be produced closer to home. More jobs would be created in the industrialized nations, however that would be due to a loss of jobs elsewhere.
Reconstruction of infrastructure to do with the consumption of energy would pull us out of the recession, by creating many new jobs.
In turn, the economic growth can be directed into further response, fueling further economic growth. Then one day in the far future, the bubble of endless green response will burst.
Basically, yes it’ll help to slow global warming. It’s really the speed that is dangerous, not so much the warming itself.

Well since man is not causing it, our going green will not stop it. However, we should be good stewards of the environment. Not because it will stop global warming, but because it will give us a better environment.
No but it will definitely cut our dependence on foreign oil, saving us billions while also cleaning up our country through recycling and less polluting.

Stop, no.
Delay, yes.
You see, global warming will never completely stop. We’d have to recede completely back to our animalistic ways, back when we were but strangers to fire. That would be the most we could do to "stop" global warming, but even then the Earth had its bad millienia and its good millenia. Global warming is affected not only by humans, but also by natural occurrences. However, this is NOT to say that all the crap happening now is PURELY natural, because most of today’s warming was advanced largely by humans.
