Are alternative fuel vehicles the future of environmentally friendly cars?
There are so many types of cars being made to today that are all attempts to lessen pollution and will have an impact on global warming. Do alternative fuel cars triumph over others like water powered cars, electric powered, or fuel efficient ones?
If the car is to survive, the most promising and cheapest power source for it is electricity. Electric cars have few moving parts and are almost maintenance-free. Their performance can exceed that of a comparable gas-powered vehicle.
Too bad GM killed off its electric car program. It could have owned the market by now and had a vehicle that, unlike its gas-guzzling SUVs, might actually move off the lot.
Arent water and electric cars specific types of alternative fuel cars? How can you pit an alt. fuel car vs a water or electric car when they are all the same thing?

they need to make all of them if you ask me and let the people pick out what they want to drive and plus if you look at what is going on in the state and all over the world they put corn in our tanks and what happened to food prices they went up because everything has corn in it so they need to start coming up with better ideas and fast
There’s already nearly a billion vehicles on the road today. If we really wanted to benefit the environment, we would just change how we make gasoline. Gasoline is only bad because it is refined from fossil reserves of crude oil hence liberating carbon and hydrogen otherwise sequestered from our environment and combining them with oxygen from our atmosphere to form CO2 and H2O hence producing a net change in our atmosphere. If we synthesized it directly from CO2 and H2O from our environment, the use of the synthetic fuel would be carbon neutral and would not result in a net increase of CO2. If we synthesized it by gasification/pyrolysis of biomass like trash and dried sewage, it would actually be carbon neutral and reduce the amount of CO2 in our atmosphere. But auto manufacturers make a profit by selling cars so alternative fuel vehicles are a good way of increasing profit by greenwashing.
Alternative fuel vehicles are the future of profitable car manufacturing, a strong economy and middle class jobs for relatively low levels of education.
There are no water powered cars, there are hydrogen fuel cell cars which are electric cars using a open cycle battery known as a fuel cell and they only use hydrogen because hydrogen oxidation is the easiest reaction to base a fuel cell on. The HHO scams are just that scams though some believe there may be marginal efficiency improvements however that would be unlikely given the virtually non-existent MON octane rating of hydrogen when compared to it’s high RON octane rating.
