there is no cheap way to produce fuel we have to find a way to produce fuel that is safe for the environment all source up to now have problem if we can make liquid fuel from coal and i think that it is possible can we make it safe ,cheap.fast and enough to help do away with gasoline

A better alternative is make fuel oil from shale. The technology has been around for 25 years. It’s still not cost effective though, and doesn’t address the need to shift away from oil based resources.

Yes you can but would you want to?
The end result has twice the carbon emissions as Diesel and you only get ~20% of the coal back as liquid fuel leaving you with a large gas & solid waste problem. Carbon capture has not been made to work and you will have large slag heaps of toxic waste.
The only real answer is to adapt our lives to use less resources. This unfortunately clashes with economists who have the ear of governments.

It is called fuel oil. But a larger supply of fuel is the oceans. Really, no kidding. Check out this you tube video about saltwater fuel. It’s awesome!
