About the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Are they really working for save whales?
I wonder they dirty the sea. They sometimes threw bottles of butyric acid for Japan whale ships. But some of bottles could fall into the sea and they should be poison for whales.
Does the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society want to really save whales ?
The acid they use will not harm any animals in the ocean, it is water soluble and basically animal fat. They are carried in glass bottles which won’t break if they fall in the water anyway. They use thick glass bottles in order to have enough weight to make it across to the other boats.
Most countries outlaw whaling for anything other than scientific use, but Japanese whalers use them for meat and other purposes while claiming its "scientific".
While I don’t agree with some of the tactics, if something is illegal it should be enforced. I see no reason why they can’t defend whales which otherwise would be defenseless. A lot of animals are protected, but it’s a little harder while in the middle of the ocean.

Butric acid is rancid Butter..get a stick of butter put it in a jar and let it sit in the sun..it`ll rot and break down to butric acid…open the jar and take a whiff….the worse smelling substance ever…totally harmless
A terrorist is a terrorist by any name. The Sea Shepherd group is a wanna be group, they just do not know what they wanna be. The Captain of the Sea Shepherd boat that turned in front of the whaling ship and was sunk showed he was unstable later. He had a jet ski and used this to get aboard one of the whaling ships with out anybody knowing while at sea. This is a violation of all water rules for any and all boats. This man was the captain of a boat with other peoples lives in his hands. This man is a nut and only lives for attention and publicity. This man took the beautiful little racing boat with it’s crew and turned in front of a large ship (mass) that was moving (speed) in the water (drag) and expected this large ship to stop before it hit him. He should not ever be able to drive or control any thing that people ride on or in.
Yes, the Sea Shepherd is helping the whales.
Some in Sea Shepherd do want to save the whales . I think most want to be on TV more then help .
They do some bad things on the sea and they should be jail for it . If they want to save the whales tell the world and get ever one to help . With or with out them whaling will stop . With out them it might have stop already .
